Are super short chapters enough to keep a reader engaged despite an unrelenting stream of heavy, bloated, clunky prose? For the time being, it would appear that, yes, they are. I tip my hat to you, Mr. Brown, a cunning trick exploiting the ability to keep humans entertained by rapidly changing stimulus regardless of quality.

This is supposed to be a shower. At present, it is refusing to act like one. Which means the only way to attempt to get clean is to “sit in a tepid pool of my own filth”.

Took a walk on the beach and freaked out this flock of seagulls. Later they shimmered on the sky like a distant mess of Christmas lights. Can’t wait until it is warm enough to really enjoy living on a beach.

I like this picture because I actually had to go take this picture for someone in our apartment complex who needed to replace this part. It was the photo I was asked to take that day. My assignment. Also, honestly, the most exciting part of a really, really lazy day.

Sadly, the programs budget had to be cut in half this year as funding was redirected to the banner budget. Whether we are having a rudimentary staff meeting, conducting a team building exercise or even just holding perfunctory interviews, it is essential that someone create a banner to commemorate the event. Sorry Yoo-Jin, I know you were looking forward to attending camp this year but obviously you can see that it would be impossible to sit around in an office chatting on the phone without a giant banner to remind us why we were there.
